JUNIOR DIVISION
FOUR SEASONS DANCERS, Inc.
is a non-profit Corporation dedicated to the development, exploration, and advancement of International Dance. We hold rolling, open auditions to become a member of our performance troupe. Our troupe dances at events and festivals held throughout the DC Metropolitan area, including Strathmore, IMF, OAS, President's Park in DC, etc. Auditions and rehearsals are held in Silver Spring. We are pleased to announce open auditions for our new Junior Division.

Criteria:
Our junior troupe is for students who are at least 13 years of age, currently taking dance or who have prior dance/gymnastics training and who love to perform. Dancers will earn SSL hours volunteering their time to perform for members of the community. Our “Project Connect” performances specifically target members of the community with limited financial resources and/or who may have physical limitations precluding them from leaving their residence to allow us to connect them to cultural diversity through global-inspired works. All student interested in being a part of the troupe must audition.

Audition Information:
Date: Sundays / 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Audition Format
The audition will be a group dance class in which the Director will be teaching you choreography. You will not need to have any prepared routines.

What to Wear:
Dancers should arrive dressed in their dancewear or fitted clothing (with hair pulled off of the face) and a small bag for their shoes, warm-up clothes and water. Dance sneakers are preferable. To adhere to covid restrictions, masks must be worn during class.
What to Expect if you become a part of our dance troupe:

Dancers will attend a weekly in-person 2 hour character/rehearsal classes (currently held at an indoor studio in Gaithersburg)
